Troup County Government employs personnel in a variety of administrative and technical support functions as well as court services, public safety, public works and other community services.

The Human Resources Department advertises employment opportunities, refers applications to appropriate departments for available openings, assist with the pre-employment checks to include drug screening, criminal history and reference checks. The hiring department is responsible for interviewing and selecting the best qualified candidate. The employment applications are position specific therefore if an applicant is interested in more than one vacant position, a completed application is required for each position. A Resume in lieu of an application will not be accepted.
